The Gardeners Kitchen

Meet The Gardener's Kitchen

At one of our first pop-up events, we had the pleasure of hosting The Gardener's Kitchen, the brainchild of Head Chef and Founder Niall McSharry. With over 15 years of culinary experience under his apron, Niall’s journey through the world of food is nothing short of inspiring.

Niall’s story begins at Rathmullan House in Donegal, where the simplicity of fresh, garden-grown vegetables and locally sourced fish and game sparked his passion. The warmth of family-style service he encountered there planted seeds that continue to flourish in his work today.

From there, Niall sharpened his skills at the River Café in London, a place he fondly recalls as his culinary “boot camp.” From filleting wild seabass to mastering the art of fresh pasta, he learned techniques that have become the backbone of his cooking style. A decade later, these lessons still inform every dish he creates.

But Niall didn’t stop at the café. Fueled by a wanderlust for both travel and flavors, he took to the high seas, working as a chef on private yachts. This globe-trotting chapter exposed him to diverse cuisines and unique challenges, expanding his repertoire in the most adventurous of ways.

Now, with The Gardener's Kitchen, Niall has brought all these experiences together under one roof—or perhaps, one corten steel kiosk. His approach combines fresh, quality ingredients with a chef’s precision and a passion for making every meal a memorable occasion.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to have partnered with The Gardener’s Kitchen and to have had a taste of Niall’s culinary expertise. Whether you’re a fan of creative dishes or just love good food made with heart, Niall McSharry’s story—and his cooking—are well worth savoring.

We are delighted to have had Niall this week and cannot wait to have him back next week.
